Earlier today, the Wall Street Journal reported that Chris Hughes is finally selling the New Republic, the magazine he spent the past four years working tirelessly to destroy.

I shared a few thoughts on the report here, but also worth your time is Hughes’ 2013 Pando Monthly conversation with Sarah Lacy. In it, Hughes explained his vision for the New New Republic, and specifically how he planned to blur the line between editorial and business.
