Does the Republican Party really think all Latinos are rapists? Would they really deport millions of undocumented Americans.

Those are the questions posted by a new political ad, produced by Fwd.us, the immigration group backed by tech luminaries like Jim Breyer*, Matt Cohler*, Ron Conway*, John Doerr, Bill Gates, Joe Green, Reid Hoffman, Drew Houston, Chamath Palihapitiya, Sean Parker and Mark Zuckerberg

The ad, embedded below, quotes policy statements by Donald Trump and Ted Cruz that are hugely antagonistic to latino Americans. It then shows how a rise in anti-Latino rhetoric has previously driven huge numbers of new voter registrations to vote for Democratic candidates.

The ad concludes by challenging GOP leadership: Is this really what you stand for? If not, it's time to stop Ted Cruz and Donald Trump making you sound like monsters.

The Trump Effect

The Republican Party should be extremely concerned that the two frontrunners for their party’s nomination are touting mass deportation as the the main plank of their immigration plans. See how Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz’s mass deportation plans will cause severe and likely irreversible political damage to the GOP. Learn more at fwd.us/trumpeffect
